In our webshop, you will therefore only find blankets that meet these criteria. Important quality marks in this regard are OEKO-tex, Woolmark, and Wool Integrity NZ.
Disana merino wool blanket
In our shop, you will find the merino wool swaddle blankets from Disana. These have a fairly coarse structure and are finished with an embroidered edge. These blankets are 80x100 cm and are suitable for a crib, co-sleeper, stroller, and car seat. The coarse structure means it provides some friction when used directly against the skin.
Pure Baby Love merino wool blanket
The Pure Baby Love merino wool swaddle blanket is knitted and has a subtle pattern. The structure is very soft and the edges contain no embroidery. The blankets are 80x100 cm and suitable for a crib, co-sleeper, stroller, and car seat, but also perfect for use directly against the skin. The fine and soft structure makes it an even softer blanket, making it the finest for direct use against the skin.
Price-quality ratio
The recommended retail price of the Disana merino wool blankets is €10 lower than those of Pure Baby Love. Merino wool is always a great choice. But for us, the deciding factor would be the softness and fine structure of the Pure Baby Love merino wool blankets.
