Woolen baby blanket - crib blanket wool

A wool crib blanket is incredibly comfortable for your little one. It's neither too cold nor too warm thanks to wool's wonderful insulating properties. Although people often associate wool blankets with winter, it's actually suitable for all seasons. When it's warmer, it releases heat without getting wet from sweat. When it's cold, it retains warmth.

Pure New Wool

Pure New Wool means that only wool is used in these lovely blankets. Pure New Wool comes from New Zealand and is sourced in an animal-friendly way. The fabric contains no additives, just pure wool. That makes it a wonderful blanket for your little one!

Crib blanket size

The wool crib blankets are 90 x 65 cm.

Wool is generally not assigned a TOG rating, due to its unique temperature-regulating and insulating properties. In warm conditions, it releases heat, while in cold conditions, it retains it. To provide an indication of the TOG values the blankets are compared to:
• Solid colors with honeycomb pattern and straight weave: 2.0
• Duo & prints: 2.5
• Merino wool: 2.0

Wool is self-cleaning. Therefore, wash wool as little as possible.

Want to freshen up your blanket? Lay it flat on a rack outside on a damp morning or in a humid room like the bathroom. After that, your blanket will be wonderfully fresh again.

Really in need of a wash?
• Use wool detergent with lanolin.
• Wash in the washing machine on a wool program at 30 degrees.
• Let the washing machine spin only at low speeds.
• Dry flat on a rack.
